Be a part of our growing community

We understand that culture and community bring this diaspora together, and sometimes we all need that connection. Your story, struggles, and successes are shaped by your culture, and therapy should reflect that. For some, it’s connecting with someone who knows home; for others, it’s finding someone who’s lived this bicultural identity.

At Antar, we are creating a space where you can speak openly, heal fully, and feel understood by someone who gets where you're coming from.

Our Story

Antar began as a conversation—a way to shed light on mental health issues affecting South Asians, especially women, struggling with loneliness in the Bay Area. As the conversations grew, so did our vision. We're looking to connect with our culture, to do things that make us feel closer to ourselves and those within the community!

Founder

Hi! I'm Vidhi Raval.
I bounced between 12 different therapists in the 9 years that I've lived here. What worked for me? A therapist I saw in Bangalore for over, 3+ years ago. She gets where I come from, what living in two cultures feels like and speaks to my soul!

About 9 years ago, when I moved to the U.S., I faced my own mental health challenges. Fortunately, I was able to land a job in the Bay Area, which allowed me to afford therapy and take the steps needed to heal. But over the years, I’ve watched many peers, friends, and family members struggle silently and I realized this is the space where I want to make an impact.

With over 7 years of experience in Tech, spanning roles in Software, Quality, and Product Management, I’ve also been deeply involved in mental health projects, non-profits, and services. Despite the visa challenges, my passion for mental health has always been at the forefront of what I do.
